Although fitness has been an integral part of my life since 1995, I have been actively working in the Fitness Industry part-time since 2016 and full-time since 2018 after a major career change where I worked in IT previously as a Business Systems Analyst. I decided to get a Diploma in Personal Training from the National Personal Training Institute in Orlando, Florida in 2016. I spent 5 months there receiving 600+ hours of hands-on training in their facility. This allowed me to become qualified to do work that I'm extremely passionate about which is helping people....particularly women in their 40s, live a better quality of life and become empowered through fitness. My experience has mostly been in the area of training persons for general health improvement and weight loss goals in their homes and online. I also have experience in Fitness Nutrition coaching mostly through Macro Counting and with special populations such as senior, pregnant, and diabetic clients. I am a Licensed Strong Nation Instructor and I've been teaching this music-led, HIIT format since 2018. I also have certifications in Suspension (TRX) Training and Kettlebell training. The last two certifications were achieved through the National Personal Training Institute as well. I am currently most interested in Private house call work and jobs in Corporate Wellness Programs but I am willing to work online as well if the opportunity presents itself. I have a lot of experience training people on camera and I'm very familiar with personal Training Software Like Trainerize as I use it extensively in my business.
